BIG BAD WOLF ILLUSTRATIONS ON MICKEY MOUSE WEEKLY COVERS FROM 1936

The first-time ever appearance of the Big Bad Wolf on the cover of a comics magazine was on the first issue of Britain's Mickey Mouse Weekly which came out on Feb 8th, 1936:

Note that the Big Bad Wolf's pose in drag on the cover of no.7 is from a scene in the cartoon The Big Bad Wolf (1934) which was also depicted in the illustrated story book Big Bad Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood (see below posts for scans) from that same year.
